Bespoke Workshops – Online & In-Person

We deliver tailored workshops for both women and men, raising awareness around peri-menopause, post-menopause, and the real-life challenges women experience during these significant physical and emotional changes.

Menopause doesn’t just affect women — it impacts home, work, and relationships. The two can’t be separated.
Left unsupported, menopause can lead to
relationship breakdowns, financial struggles, strained family connections, career disruption, and even serious health issues. These are real consequences, and awareness is the first step toward change.

Why Men Matter Too

Men experience hormonal changes and midlife shifts of their own. Understanding menopause helps them support their partners, colleagues, and teams, while also considering their own personal wellbeing. Awareness and empathy build stronger, healthier homes and workplaces.

For Employers

Be a responsible and forward-thinking employer. Create a positive, inclusive workplace culture by hosting a Menopause Awareness Workshop. Show your people that you value their health, wellbeing, and long-term contribution to your organisation.

My Mission

My mission is simple:
To
raise awareness for everyone through fun, engaging, and informative workshops.
Menopause conversations don’t need to be difficult — they need to be
open, honest, and supportive. By increasing knowledge and improving communication between colleagues, partners, and teams, we create understanding, empathy, and lasting impact — at work and at home.

Wellbeing, Diversity and Inclusion should be on the agenda of every organisation and company.

Menopause Policy - Workforce Engagement

🔍 Key statistics

  • Prevalence of symptoms: Around 73% of women aged 40-60 in employment have experienced menopausal symptoms. CIPD+1
  • Impact on work: Of those who have symptoms, 67% say they have had a mostly negative effect on them at work. CIPD
  • Absence or inability to attend work: “Over half” (53%) of women surveyed recalled a time when they were unable to go into work due to menopausal symptoms. CIPD+1

  • Workplace support lacking: Only around 24% of those surveyed say their organisation has a stated menopause policy or other support measures in place. CIPD+1
  • Discomfort talking about it: In a separate survey, 42% of employees who had menopause symptoms said they felt uncomfortable talking to anyone at work about it. Aviva
  • Employer awareness: 81% of employers surveyed believed it is important for workplaces to support staff experiencing menopause. Acas
  • Demographic workforce issue: Women aged 45-54 make up 11% of all people in employment (and 23% of all women in employment) in the UK. TUC
  • Symptoms and performance: Among women aged 45-55, one survey found that 77% experience one or more ‘very difficult’ menopausal symptoms; 44% said their ability to work had been affected. TLT

✅ Why this matters

  • With such a large proportion of women experiencing menopausal symptoms and still being in work, the potential impact on productivity, retention, and career progression is significant.

  • The gap between employer belief (many recognise it’s important) and actual support (policies, adjustments) suggests there is both a risk and an opportunity for organisations.

  • The career progression and retention element (negative impact on career, women leaving or reducing roles) highlights not just a wellbeing issue but also a business-&-talent management issue.

  • The discomfort in talking about menopause means many issues may go unreported or unsupported, which increases risk of hidden costs (sickness absence, reduced performance, lost talent).

WORKSHOP Feedback, Testimonials, Comments & Selected Google Reviews (2025)

Attended a workshop today run by Fiona. Really informative and she made it fun. We had women of all ages attend so we all took something away from it that is going to benefit not just our working lives but our daily lives. Have recommended to my husband who works in a largely male dominated sector, as he has said how much it would make a difference if he and his colleagues knew more about mid life and menopause. Thanks Again Fiona, your awesome.

Fiona's seminar was so informative and helpful. She was so relatable and easy to listen to. She brought humour to discussing sensitive issues in a away that felt like she was a professional friend. I could listen to her all day! She really does know what she's talking about. The team she has around her are also lovely, informative individuals that have so much to give. I highly recommend investing your time and money into Mid Point 4 Women. I'm glad i did and will definitely be reaching out to them in the future when needed. Jodie Lindsay (Ability Supported Living)

Very Engaging and a great way of explaining what happens and what to do to help and get advice. An all round better understanding especially as a male of the challenges menopause brings to everyone's lives. Paul Roberts (MPS)

Personal Testimonial from a Met Police Officer

I have known Fiona in a professional capacity for a long time. She has always been known as someone who is helpful, understanding, and preferable to talk to over anyone else from her organisation. So it was no surprise when I heard that I was going to be getting a 2 hour talk from her regarding the Menopause. Perhaps the subject of the talk was... but after an initial bout of scepticism, I embraced the idea and sat there with an open mind. I was so glad that I did. As a 46 year old man, I like many other people of my age, have always wondered about the "mystical menopause". My wife had mentioned it in passing to me a few times, and every now and then tells me she has woken up in the night sweating profusely. Even my basic knowledge of the menopause made me wonder if I was about to brace myself for a completely different person in the coming years.

Fiona targeted a large group of men perfectly, explaining the subject in a clear and understandable way. I learned what to expect, I learned that colleagues wives had been through symptoms ranging from minor to extreme. I learned that the only thing I could do was offer patience and understanding, as, when it comes to her, she will have no control over the effects it has on her. As a manager of staff in the police, and a firearms instructor, I learnt how the Met is currently facing serious retention issues for experienced female staff, with 25% leaving their jobs during their menopause journey.

Not long after the presentation, I got talking to some women at my gym - after trying to find a table to sit at and drink a post workout coffee with friends, I asked if we could share the table. The snippy but playful response was "Sure - if you don't mind hearing about the menopause". I then proceeded to tell these women everything I had learned in Fiona's session. Their jaws dropped. One woman asked if her husband could do a session, and they were all desperate to understand why I was so lucky to have been given this enlightening advice. I will finish this by saying that I haven't experienced full menopause symptoms with my wife. I hope they will be minor, for her sake. But I feel like I will be ready to help her on her journey when they come. I think the phrase "Death and taxes are the only certainty in life" should be amended to add "menopause" as well.

I honestly believe that the talk I was given needs to be expanded across the Met to all supervisors, so that they can support female colleagues with potential adjusted working arrangements if needed. This is turn would reduce costs of sickness and absenteeism across the organisation, whilst providing female officers with the reassurance that there is consistent understanding across the command structure.

October 2023 - Ashford Volunteer Centre

Thank you so much for the 3 Menopause Workshops you recently delivered for us here at Ashford Volunteer Centre.

The sessions were absolutely brilliant! We have received lots of positive feedback about how engaging and knowledgeable you are.

It was extremely helpful sharing our experiences, symptoms and effects with each other. The information you shared was enlightening and the workshop has not only been beneficial, but it has offered support and relief too!

I highly recommend your workshops to others, there are so many women who suffer in silence, and so many men who are unaware of the distress it can cause - as they say knowledge is power.

So thank you once again for sharing your expertise and making the workshop so enjoyable!

October 2022   Diverse Care

I am the chief exec of a social care company - almost 90% of our staff are women - I am a bit of an outlier from that perspective! We invest heavily in training for our staff - and take input from our staff team as to the training agenda. It was with some trepidation that I agreed to attend a seminar on menopause awareness. I was the lone male in a room of 25 women of various different ages (some of whom, where menopause was a distant memory, some with many years to go before it will directly affect them and some that are currently suffering with menopausal symptoms). Fiona made me and the team feel very comfortable talking about the issues associated with the menopause; there was a surprising amount of laughter; and the information shared was relevant and interesting. Menopause affects all of us - either directly through the physical issues women have to endure - or if you are a man, by understanding what your colleagues may be going through. I would highly recommend Fiona's training - even for organisations that are predominantly male. In fact, testament to the quality of Fiona's training - I booked three further sessions with different teams within the organisation as soon as I completed my training!

Police Testimonials

“I recently had the pleasure of hosting Fiona from Mid Point 4 Women Limited’ to hold an online informative session for 86 of my colleagues. The event was a huge success, with a massive turn out of both females and males who were absorbed by Fiona and the wealth of information that she provided. Fiona’s approach is friendly, informative, relaxed and utterly relatable. She creates an environment where attendees feel able to ask questions and share experiences. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mid Point 4 Women to any organisation looking to support and educate their staff and colleagues around the Menopause. If I could, I would have her deliver training every month!”

‘Fiona managed to introduce humour into a subject that can be hard to navigate. Her input was so enjoyable, informative and very well received, with many smiles on the faces of those who listened and took part. I can’t not recommend her enough.’

Feedback following Workshops sent through by the host or by the person themselves.

I found it extremely helpful an have passed a few tips onto others already in the organisation. It was lovely to sit in a nice safe space and feel like I was not the only one going through these things! I also learnt a few things also about myself which was interesting!!

I was very impressed with the event and thought that Fiona presented the topic really well. I attended as I wanted to know what to expect in the future and I feel that I really have come away with more knowledge.

I just want to say how informative and useful the session was yesterday – thank you for organising. Fiona is a natural presenter and did a brilliant job in making discussions about a potentially sensitive topic relaxed.

That was a great Workshop – so informative and wonderful to be able to talk about the subject so freely. It was great to be able to share ideas in a safe space amongst women who are at various stages in life, helping to take the fear and mystery out of the subject.

The workshop was really beneficial. I think the journey of menopause can feel quite lonely at times, for me it helped me realise that it doesn’t need to feel that way.
